First drink built on ITC science
Each Nomio shot delivers an optimal dose of ITC (isothiocyanates) in bioavailable form, equivalent those found in 2.5–3 kg of raw broccoli.
8 years of clinical studies
Swedish researches from Karolinska Institute and the Swedish School of Sport and Health managed to successfully stabilise ITC (isothiocyanates), making them shelf-stable without losing potency. That's the pioneering research behind Nomio.
ITC effect on endurance athletes during high intensity training
The pre-print study shows that a single dose of ITC, taken 3 hours in advance, reduces blood lactate concentrations during sub-maximal exercise. Optimal ITC dose followed a U-shaped curve, with one Nomio shot matching the optimal ITC amount.
Shifts in lactate and glycogen metabolization after consumption of ITC
In a double-blinded cross-over study, ITC present in glucosinolate-rich broccoli sprouts were connected to moderated lactate levels and better adaptation to intense exercise. Participants who took ITC saw faster training improvements vs. placebo.
Impact of ITC exposure on muscle fibers and their atrophy
In a test-tube study, muscle fibers were stimulated with electricity to emulate exercise, while being exposed to sulforaphane (an ITC). The experiment showed that ITC was linked to protection of the muscle fibers and muscle health.
